The shell is crafted from premium 100% recycled GORE-TEX ePE face fabric, offering breathable, waterproof protection that’s both durable and lightweight. This innovative fabric incorporates BIONIC recycled coastal and marine plastic, sourced from coastal communities in Costa Rica to help reduce ocean pollution. True to Patagonia’s environmental mission, the fabric, membrane, and DWR finish are all made without intentionally added PFAS.

Insulated with 700-fill-power 100% Recycled Down, a blend of reclaimed duck and goose down and waterfowl feathers, the Stormshadow provides high-loft warmth with a minimal footprint. The insulated, fixed hood features hidden adjustment cords that seal in heat while maintaining a clean silhouette. Additional performance details include storm cuffs that can be worn over or under gloves, and an adjustable hem with hidden drawcords routed through the front hand pockets to block out cold drafts. The center-front zipper is backed by an interior storm flap and a brushed tricot-lined collar for added softness against the skin.

Storage is simple and secure, with two welted, zippered handwarmer pockets and a zippered internal chest pocket to keep essentials close and protected.
