So Far, So Good... Great Sleeping Bag
Reviewed By Amanda, 18 Sep 2012

This sleeping bag was used in late summer in the Brecon Beacons, Wales.

It was lightweight, looked enticing to crawl in to on that dark night, and even had a small zip compartment to hide any valuables. I went to bed a little concerned that I may get cold..However, after about 30 minutes, I removed a layer of clothing, which I thought may be necessary, but was not. The bag was keeping me nice and warm. In the middle of the night, I found myself removing more clothing and my socks, since I became too warm.

This bag definitely kept me warm enough without having to wear any extra clothing in the late Summer / early Autumn of Wales.

A slight negative side to the bag was that, I believed it would be comfortably long enough for me. I am 1.64m tall, slender size 10 woman, and I believed that the Regular sleeping bag would fit me well. The sleeping bag was still long enough, yet I could feel my feet touching the base of the sleeping bag, making me feel a little constrained.I lay a little higher out of the sleeping bag to rectify this issue, yet if I wished to use the benefit of the mummy hood, then I think I would have preferred a slightly longer sleeping bag.

Otherwise, all-in-all a good sleeping bag for British conditions (and it looks pretty for the ladies too)!

Great sleeping bag

I've had this bag out and about this rainy summer and it's been brilliant - warm (but not too warm!) all the time. The only thing I would say is that I'm a woman who's 5'7" and it's too short for me. My feet hit the bottom when I've got the hood up. I can still sleep in it but it's not as comfortable as I would like.

It's as if this thing had a thermostat!

I've used this bag at night-time temperatures ranging from +1c (torrential rain for days) to +18c (both humid and dry conditions) and bizarrely it's always just comfortably warm - never too hot / cold / clammy or sweaty. The zips and straps are of good quality and it also packs amazingly small considering how fluffy it is. It's been worth every penny and if it was possible to marry a sleeping bag, I'd divorce my husband and take this baby up the aisle!

Ideal bag for damp Scottish climate!
Reviewed By Sue, 13 Oct 2011

This was my first new sleeping bag. I was very comfortable despite the cold, damp and windy conditions over the four nights backpacking trip in Scotland this October. I was sometimes cold when I got into the bag but soon warmed up and stayed cosy all night long.
