Jetboil stoves integrate the cooking pot and stove into one compact system with a FluxRing heat exchanger at the base, maximising heat transfer and fuel efficiency, allowing water to boil exceptionally fast even in windy conditions.

Most Jetboil models, like the Flash, can boil 16 oz (about 500 ml) of water in approximately 1 minute 40 seconds, making it one of the fastest backpacking stoves available.

They use 7/8″ threaded isobutane/propane blended canisters. Pure propane canisters are also supported but may require adapters and are heavier; isobutane blends are most common for versatility.

Fast Boil models focus on rapid boiling and are unregulated, while Precision Cooking models include a fuel regulator for simmer control and perform better in cold temperatures (down to 20°F or -6°C) for precise cooking.
