Rab uses GORE-TEX membranes and Pertex Shield fabrics with fluorocarbon-free DWR coatings. These block external moisture while allowing sweat vapor to escape, maintaining breathability during high-intensity activities. 

Yes, certain models feature adjustable helmet-compatible hoods with laminated brims. Regular cuts allow mid-layer integration without restricting mobility. 

Rab prioritises fluorocarbon-free DWR treatments and recycled materials where possible. Their wash/reproofing guide minimises chemical use. 

Wash with technical cleaner after every trip; reproof every 3 months for frequent use. Tumble-dry on low heat to reactivate DWR coatings.
