Why we’re supporting Race for Life events
Scientific research is a costly process, which is why working together to raise awareness and funds is crucial.
£60 could fund a PhD student for a day, developing the skills to make research breakthroughs of the future.
£170 could fund one day of a clinical trial testing innovative radiotherapy techniques to treat rare bile duct cancer.
£400 could fund an international trial aiming to improve treatment for brain tumours in children, for one day.
