The Ramblers

The Ramblers is a charity dedicated to removing barriers so everyone can enjoy walking in green spaces. They preserve and improve the paths, tracks and trails across England, Scotland, and Wales that we love to walk and run. The Ramblers campaign to keep the countryside open to all and fight for the things that matter most to walkers. 

Whether you’re in search of nature or seeking adventure; striding out with friends or craving quiet, the partnership between the Ramblers and Cotswold Outdoor means you’ll get even more out of your walks.

From offering Ramblers members discounts on walking gear and gadgets to providing expert advice and fittings, Cotswold Outdoor are supporting the Ramblers to help everyone enjoy walking in green spaces.

For example, funding from Cotswold Outdoor has helped the Ramblers bring their programme for young people, the Out There Award, to England and Wales after many successful years in Scotland. The Out There Award is for young people aged 18 – 26 who want to kickstart their journey into the outdoors, while meeting other young walkers and learning new skills. The Out There Award is designed with participants to be fun, FREE and inclusive. The two-day award is for everyone, whatever your background, experience, location or budget.

Cotswold Outdoor have also supported the Ramblers search for Britain’s Favourite Path  which celebrates paths and why they mean so much to the walkers who use them.

As a Ramblers member you can receive a 15% discount at Cotswold Outdoor, Snow + Rock and Runners Need.
