Cotswold Outdoor Group to relocate head office to Swindon

Cotswold Outdoor Group, the British company behind high-street brands Cotswold Outdoor, Runners Need and Snow + Rock, has announced it is set to relocate its head office from Kemble to nearby Swindon.

The Swindon “Basecamp” office will provide staff with new and improved modern facilities that focus on people and planet – enabling the company to better live its values and deliver on its sustainability pledges.

The building has been rated BREEAM ‘Excellent’, has an EPC ‘A’ rating, and has had a net zero carbon fit out.

As part of the move, the business will outsource its logistics and customer service operations to DHL, a leader in global supply chain services.

The new partnership will allow Cotswold Outdoor Group to take advantage of newer facilities and technology to improve efficiency across the supply chain, resulting in smoother logistics and enhanced services for its customers and partners. The multi-user facility is entirely powered by renewable electricity and is DHL’s first operationally carbon-neutral new build site in the UK.

The move and transition are expected to be completed by Q2 2026.
