The Wildlife Trusts

Our natural world is in a state of emergency, with wildlife disappearing at an alarming rate, yet if we act now, it’s not too late to win the fight. That’s why this Black Friday, we donated 1% of sales to The Wildlife Trusts to help support their work to create a better, wilder future.

At Cotswold Outdoor, we’re passionate about protecting the outdoors and believe that nature has been there for us when we needed it most. But with almost half of UK wildlife in decline and some of our best-loved species at risk of extinction, we believe it’s down to all of us to play our part in changing the future of our natural landscapes for the better. That’s why we’re proud to champion The Wildlife Trusts who are leading the way when it comes to prioritising nature’s recovery.

A movement of independent charities from across the UK, The Wildlife Trusts’ vision is to create a world where land and seas are rich in wildlife and where people have the opportunity to experience the joy of nature in their everyday lives.

Through their ambitious 30 by 30 project, they’re calling for 30% of our UK land and seas to be connected and protected by 2030, to ensure a thriving natural world that has the power to lock up carbon dioxide, provide clean air and water, help protect us from flooding and extreme weather, provide food and be a space that we can all enjoy.

The Wildlife Trusts’ 30 by 30 campaign is the most audacious and courageous project I’ve seen in a very long time.”

Stephen Fry.
