Bedruthan, The Devil's Steps - Cornwall

Length: 10.7 miles Walking Time: 5 hours 30 minutes Difficulty: Moderate

Starting point: Mawgan Porth Beach

This linear walk takes you past seven perfect sandy beaches and dramatic cliffs with distinctive marine flora. Long stretches of this exceptionally beautiful coast remain wild and unspoilt and you’ll be treated to picture-postcard coves.

Musbury Castle Circular - Devon

Length: 4.4 miles Walking Time: 2 hours 30 minutes Difficulty: Moderate

This route takes you along stretches of the East Devon Way, treating you to incredible views over the Axe Valley and across the English Channel. Take time to stop and admire the church of St Michael and Musbury Castle, an Iron Age hill fort.

Saltash, Trematon & Trevollard - Cornwall

Length: 4 miles Walking Time: 2 hours Difficulty: Easy


Starting point: Latchbrook Cottages, Saltash


A circular walk along lanes, field paths and through meadows and woods with beautiful river views. A highlight of the route is a swamp, which on a hot day takes on a semi-tropical atmosphere and is packed full of interesting wildlife.

Bowerman's Nose, Tor Stories - Devon

Length: 10 miles Walking Time: 5 hours 30 minutes Difficulty: Moderate

Starting point: Widecombe-in-the-Moor Village Green


Starting at the quintessential Dartmoor village of Widecome-in-the-Moor, this route takes you up the high hills encircling it to a series of spectacular viewpoints extending across the whole of Devon. Look out for prehistoric hut circles, menhirs and stone rows.

Truro - Cornwall

Starting from the grand Truro Cathedral, this route takes you on a scenic tour of the historic city of Truro. You won’t be contained to the city alone, with some beautiful countryside walking and a stretch along the western bank of the River Truro.

Historic Hidden Haytor, Dartmoor - Devon

A gentle and varied walk stepping back in time to look at long forgotten industries and transport systems. Learn more about the Haytor Granite Tramway and Haytor quarries, as well as enjoying the lovely moorland of Dartmoor.

Circular Walk From Looe To Polperro - Cornwall

Length: 9.3 miles Walking Time: 3 hours Difficulty: Leisurely

Starting point: Looe Railway Station


This walk takes you along the picturesque and rugged coastline for five miles to Polperro, once a busy harbour popular with smugglers, now a tourist destination. You’ll return to Looe inland along a bridleway and minor roads.
