Working for climbers, hill walkers & mountaineers.

The British Mountaineering Council (BMC) is the representative body that exists to protect the freedoms and promote the interests of climbers, hill walkers and mountaineers, including ski-mountaineers. The BMC was created with the principle aim of maintaining access to mountains, crags and cliffs for climbers across England and Wales. Becoming a member of the BMC includes some great benefits including a discount with Cotswold Outdoor, access to the BMC insurance scheme, technical and training advice and four copies of Summit magazine each year.

Visit the BMC website to find out more about the BMC as well as some great climbing tips, articles, videos and much more.
