I have owned dozens of technical fleeces and this one is my favourite. It really keeps you warm considering how small it compacts down to. I have used it traveling and hiking abroad as well as in the uk so its warmth to size ratio was important to me. It's great under a hard or softshell in alpine conditions walking, it kept me warm but not sweaty. The waist band is a good length keeping your body warm and it does not ride up when your climbing. The elasticated thin areas of fabric are in the right place to stop the fleece from affecting movement, it an oldy but still a goody. The one girly good thing about this fleece is that no matter how many times I wash it it still looks new, most fleeces bobble and look tatty very quickly but not this one.
