The Ghost Axe from Grivel is the lightest ice axe made by Grivel. Ghost is for people who want the lightest possible tool but are not willing to sacrifice the strength and durability of a genuine steel head and the efficiency of a real steel blade. The shaft is cut at the end to save weight and is primarily designed for ski mountaineering and light mountaineering. The blade is ergonomic for better comfort while holding it. The G-Bone shaft, with a special shape with side grooves, allows a higher resistance with a lower thickness. It guarantees a great ergonomic grip all along the shaft.
