Product information

The Men’s Capilene Midweight Bottoms from Patagonia have a smooth face for easy layering, a forgiving stretch that moves with you and an internal diamond-grid pattern that rests lightly on the skin to trap warmth. The hollow-core yarn construction increases wicking performance and speeds dry times. Treated with HeiQ Fresh durable odor control, which means less washing and longer wearing, and because these bottoms are Fair Trade Certified sewn, the people who made it earned a premium for their labour. Designed to layer under your trekking pants during the cold seasons, offering extra warmth and protection on a mountain top they feature a functional fly, a chafe-free flatlock seam design, gusseted crotch and elastic waistband throughout to also enhance comfort.

About the brand

Two people are walking up a rocky mountain, wearing Patagonia gear with walking poles.

Patagonia’s mission: We’re in business to save our home planet.

Patagonia appreciate that all life on earth is under threat of extinction. We aim to use the resources we have—our business, our investments, our voice and our imaginations—to do something about it.

Patagonia grew out of a small company that originally made tools for climbers. Today alpinism remains at the heart of a business that still makes clothes for climbing as well as for skiing, snowboarding, surfing, fly fishing, paddling and trail running.

At Patagonia, a love of wild and beautiful places demands participation in the fight to save them, and to help reverse the steep decline in the overall environmental health of our planet we donate our time, services and 1% of our sales to hundreds of grassroots environmental groups all over the world who work to help reverse the tide.
