Product information

A stretchy, scalloped-seam version of the tried-and-true Wavefarer Boardshorts; built from a durable, quick-drying recycled nylon blend with a DWR finish and 50+ UPF sun protection.

The design of these shorts features a functional, heritage-inspired hem that offers increased range of motion in the water. The natural fit has a slightly trimmer silhouette through the thigh, seat and leg, with the 3-piece, self-lined waistband contouring to the hip. The inseam is shifted forward to help eliminate chafing, and the flat-lying fly with single rubber button is optimized for comfort while paddling. Closure is a bartacked ladderlock drawstring for security and strength and the self-draining thigh pocket has a corrosion-proof plastic zip, internal key loop and added zip pull for ease of use; while also doubling as a self-storage pouch when finished with.

About the brand

Two people are walking up a rocky mountain, wearing Patagonia gear with walking poles.

Patagonia’s mission: We’re in business to save our home planet.

Patagonia appreciate that all life on earth is under threat of extinction. We aim to use the resources we have—our business, our investments, our voice and our imaginations—to do something about it.

Patagonia grew out of a small company that originally made tools for climbers. Today alpinism remains at the heart of a business that still makes clothes for climbing as well as for skiing, snowboarding, surfing, fly fishing, paddling and trail running.

At Patagonia, a love of wild and beautiful places demands participation in the fight to save them, and to help reverse the steep decline in the overall environmental health of our planet we donate our time, services and 1% of our sales to hundreds of grassroots environmental groups all over the world who work to help reverse the tide.
