General

An ultralight belay jacket for getting after it in the mountains. The DAS Light Hoody is a core alpine piece designed using PlumaFill synthetic insulation. Its ultralightweight, water-resistant, downlike warmth paired with a coated shell for enhanced weather resistance makes it the ideal partner for expeditions in the hills. Features of the coat include the alpine-helmet-compatible, insulated hood with single-pull cord adjustment, two-way, center-front Vislon zipper, internal wind flap and a variety of zippered pockets, one of which allows the jacket to be securely stuffed away as the weather improves.

About this brand

Two people are walking up a rocky mountain, wearing Patagonia gear with walking poles.

Patagonia’s mission: We’re in business to save our home planet.

Patagonia appreciate that all life on earth is under threat of extinction. We aim to use the resources we have—our business, our investments, our voice and our imaginations—to do something about it.

Patagonia grew out of a small company that originally made tools for climbers. Today alpinism remains at the heart of a business that still makes clothes for climbing as well as for skiing, snowboarding, surfing, fly fishing, paddling and trail running.

At Patagonia, a love of wild and beautiful places demands participation in the fight to save them, and to help reverse the steep decline in the overall environmental health of our planet we donate our time, services and 1% of our sales to hundreds of grassroots environmental groups all over the world who work to help reverse the tide.
