It combines a waterproof outer shell for dryness with a synthetically insulated inner for lightweight warmth. A waterproof fabric provides an impenetrable moisture barrier for guaranteed dryness, while insulation reduces heat loss and increases warmth, even in the coldest temperatures. She can wear both layers together or separately as the season progresses.
